A little bit of history
Two Tales Unknown is owned and run by a sole designer, who is a nomad at heart. Brought up in Oman, it was an adventurous childhood, from annual family travels around the world to just weekend camping trips up the Jebel (mountains) or down the Wadis (riverbeds).
The name Two Tales was conceived in 2013 while at University, originally for a graded project, which then continued after studies. The ‘Two’ refers to the two homes growing up; Perth, Australia and Muscat, Oman and the ‘Tales’ refers to all the adventures and storytales created. The ‘Two’ has multiple meanings as it is also reflective of the two sides of the world; East and West. They were literally such different worlds and it took a lot of getting used to when moving back to the West.
Being raised as a nomad, she has a wide sense of the world and understanding of all cultures. With parents from Britain, herself claiming nationality as Australian and a brother born and bred in Oman, the family itself is a diverse collection.
Family phone calls have to be scheduled way in advance and we always knows three different time zones as well as currency conversions at any one time - perfect for all those international clients!
